Wants to discover popular diseases in dentists - takes in millions from BioGaia

Swedish Boneprox uses artificial intelligence to diagnose major public diseases such as osteoporosis. Now the healthcare technology company is taking in another SEK 11 million in capital.

Dentist Kjell Kärrbrink discovered a method to see if a person was at risk for osteoporosis, by analyzing X-ray images of the jawbone.

“Boneprox is an innovative company that has a very interesting product for detecting osteoporosis. We see great opportunities to launch this globally in combination with our product for patients with low bone density. Going forward, there is great potential to jointly develop more products and services for an international market”

Investment Manager, BioGaia, Sebastian Schröder
