Boneprox expands with new capital

Dental tech company Boneprox is targeting new markets with health company BioGaia as an industrial partner and investor. The new capital injection will go towards international expansion and further development of the product portfolio.
BackingMinds invested in Boneprox in October 2019, which uses its patented AI tool to identify common diseases by analyzing common dental X-rays. Over the past year, the company has broadened its offering with a technical platform that has quickly become Scandinavia's digital specialist clinic in dentistry.
Now the company takes in another 11msec from BioGaia and BackingMinds. BioGaia is a global health company with a presence in over a hundred countries and will support Boneprox in its international expansion.
Boneprox is an innovative company that has a very interesting product for detecting osteoporosis. We see great opportunities to launch this globally in combination with our product for patients with low bone density. Going forward, there is great potential to jointly develop more products and services for an international market, says Sebastian Schröder, EVP Business Development at BioGaia.
